Canyons Cares, founded in 2024 by Canyons swimmer Logan Divine, is a swimmer-planned, organized, and run program focused on benefitting the Santa Clarita community. We strive to exemplify leadership, goodwill, and camaraderie as a team, and help improve our city, one event at a time.
Community Impact: 2026: - Collected over 200 food items benefiting Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry - Over 200 items collected for Sunny Day Acres Dog Rescue- Canned food drive benefiting Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry (coming in November 2026) - Toy Drive for donation to California Highway Patrol's CHiPs for Kids annual Holiday Toy Drive (coming in December 2026) 2025: - Provided lunch to Bridge to Home, a local shelter designed to help bridge people out of homelessness and into housing - Collected over 200 essential care items for Bridge to Home - Donated 25 books to Code Read, an organization committed to providing books to children in need to improve literacy - Collected over 560 food items benefiting Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry. - Collected over 100 toys for California Highway Patrol's CHiPs for Kids annual Holiday Toy Drive 2024: -Collected over 600 food items for Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry |
