• Enrollment
  Enrollment into Annual Monthly and Seasonal lessons occurs on the same day that you enroll, excluding the start of the swim lesson season. Members cannot enroll in future classes or reserve classes. Once enrolled, members are charged for the remaining tuition for the month. Members who want to enroll for specific future months should consider enrolling on the first of that month they would like to start or near the end of the preceding month. 
  Classes that do not meet the minimum participant requirement may be canceled, combined or rescheduled to another time. 
  
  Tuition
  Monthly Annual and Seasonal programs are automatically charged on the first(1st) of the month until canceled by members. All classes are purchased for a whole month, including "No Instruction Days" listed under our Calendar. 
  
  Summer Splash program lessons are a one time purchase by two-week session. Summer Splash lessons do no automatically charge for the next session. Members must purchase separate sessions if they would like their lessons to continue.
  
  Automatic Enrollment
  Annual Monthly and Seasonal Lessons are on an automatic re-enrollment plan. This means that once registered; members are automatically enrolled from one month to the next. If you decide that you would like to leave our program, it is up to you to notify the club of your intent by emailing the Canyons Office at [email protected]. Once notified, Canyons Aquatic Swim School will suspend your account beginning on the 1st day of the upcoming month. From that point on, your membership will be categorized as "canceled" and you will no longer be billed, invoiced, or emailed from the club. Please follow up on your email to make sure it was received. You must notify the Canyons Office by 15th of the month preceding the month to be canceled due to processing time.
  
  Proration
  All programs are prorated to account for No Instruction Days and days left in the month.
  
  Late Payment Policy
  Swimmers must be signed up for our automatic registration program with a current and active credit card on file. Swimmers who are not current on their payment will not be allowed in the water for lessons until payment is made in full. To bring your payment up to date, you must come to the office during office hours Mon-Thurs 4:00 -7:00 pm. If you know that your card on file may have an issue going through at midnight on the first of the month, please contact our office at [email protected], so that they can assist you in resolving the issue before it happens. Swimmers who do not contact us within a week of payment being declined regarding how they will handle payment will be removed from the class.
  
  Temporary Suspension
  We will not be able to "hold" classes for students to temporarily suspend an account. Families who wish to keep their spot in a specific class time and day must continue to pay for the class each month regardless of attendance or terminate their membership, at the risk of losing the spot, and re-register when they wish to return.
  
  Absences
  There are no refunds or make-up classes available for missed classes.
  
  Class Cancellations
  If classes need to be canceled by the Canyons Swim School program for any reason that they can control, a credit will be placed back on your account for that missed class. For any outside factor that classes need to be canceled, ie force majeure, College of the Canyons operations, or anything that is out of the control of Canyons Aquatic Club or Canyons Swim school; a refund/credit will not be issued unless determined otherwise by the Canyons Aquatic Club Board of Directors. 
  
  Membership Cancellations
  Before the start of your first swim lesson for all programs and not currently in the Swim School program, may cancel their swim lessons without a penalty. A full refund will be given when notice is received by the Swim Director or the Canyons Office at least five working days before the first scheduled lesson or class. Requests received by the Swim Director or the Canyons Office after the first scheduled class and before the second scheduled class will be refunded and assessed a $15.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after the second scheduled class.
  
  For enrolled members, cancellations for Annual Monthly and Seasonal Lessons must be given by the 15th of the month preceding the month to be canceled. Cancellations are effective on the last day of the month. Once you cancel, you may still attend lessons until the end of the month. We do not prorate classes that are canceled. Annual Monthly and Seasonal Lessons cancellation requests made after the 15th of the month will be assessed a $15.00 administration fee. Cancellation requests made on or after the start, 1st, of the month will be charged in full for the month.
